As you already know, it is not good idea to post the same content to each of your social networks. Each network has a slightly different audience within your target demographic, the content is presented uniquely across platforms, and it is consumed differently too. Facebook is about friendly mass communications with images, video, links and longer texts. Twitter is great for short bite size info, and for identifying influencers. For Instagram you have to work with the highest quality creative photo content, while for Snapchat emotion and fresh information is paramount.
But how can you use data to determine which content is actually best for each social channel?
Using ZoomSphere you can make this data collection simple and effective to make the right choices.
1. Think about the content types you produce and setup them as labels in your Publisher Module. Simply go to Settings – Advanced Settings, and customise them as you wish. These are unique for each workspace so select the correct section.
2. Each time you schedule content in your Publisher Module, don’t forget to set the appropriate label in the dialog box!
3. As content is published and interacted with you can use the Analytics Module and its page posts data to see what content type is attracting the most attention for each given social network and page or profile.
4. Compare this statistics from the Analytics Module across your different social networks to find out its specific success.
Following these steps will reveal which content type works better on Facebook or other social networks and vice versa. Hope you like the tip!
