I am a passionate paraglider and nature lover. I have been programming since I was 12 years old and I still enjoy it. I like challenges. I enjoy dealing with difficult problems that not everyone can solve. I specialise in architectures for processing huge amounts of data and enterprise systems with high availability. I worked in Seznam.cz – the biggest Internet fulltext search engine in Czech Republic that has millions of users.
Backend developer at ZoomSphere family, occasional tramp, bookworm and mountain lover. I have more than five years experience from computer industry as a developer and analyst of web applications using various web technologies, frameworks and languages (mainly Java EE, Groovy on Grails and Node.JS). I was also working on EU FP7 project LinkedTV as a researcher.
Before joining ZoomSphere, I worked 4 years with Microsoft Technologies (WPF, ASP.NET), and for the last 2 years I worked on the development interface. I became an Angular developer at ZoomSphere, and after years of working in the atmosphere where people were just a “money machine”, I finally found a place where work means much more than just money.
I have been working as graphic designer for over 15 years by now. I have created a design for well known brand names like ESET, Sygic, ZSE, Tipos, Mercedes-Benz, UniCredit Bank, and so on. In recent years, I have been focusing on desktop and mobile application design. Currently, I’m helping ZoomSphere to move the product to a new level. All my spare time I spend mainly on my family.
I consider programming a passion rather than a chore, since expressing creativity and ideas has always been my basic need. I am strongly focused on code quality, reusability and maintainability. Always eager to help others solving problems, because I find it a great opportunity for self-improvement. At ZoomSphere my responsibility is taking care of the client-side development and open-source projects. Personally – I am huge fan of classic games, backpacking and breathtaking views.
