Twitter, being a third-most popular social network in Spain behind Facebook and YouTube, is the marketing channel that can’t be ignored by any serious company present on this market. Also, there’s a large number of Spanish brands that went global and at the moment are among the most-followed on Twitter. In this report, we have decided to take a detailed look on performance of these, who are standing behind the success of Real Madrid or FC Barcelona on Twitter – leading spanish digital agencies and their profiles will be a subject of following analyse.
Top agencies by number of followers
Making long story short, Good Rebels with 166 579 followers became an uncontestable leader of this ranking. We don’t need to add that this number of follower is leaving far behind the second and third places of the ranking, holded respectively by B-Reel with 25 343 followers and Gestazión followed by 20 495 people. The last one on our list is CODE D’AZUR with only 704 followers in February
Top agencies by number of new followers
Not always the largest number of current followers is guaranteeing the rapid increase of new followers. This is exactly the case of Good Rebels, mentioned above, who acquired only 231 new profiles, what makes their growth only 0.13% higher than in a previous month and placing second in our ranking. Worthy to mention is that leader in acquiring new followers in February, Doctor Jekyll, got little bit more fans than Good Rebels, precisely 261, but their growth rate of 39%, compare to their much larger competitor, is just outstanding! The third from the top, Shackleton, noted only 1% growth with 149 new followers. Ranking is closed by Adesis Netlife with only five new followers acquired.
Top agencies by numer of interactions
Large number of followers is not neccessarly letting Twitter profiles to rapidly grow. But the same large number of followers is definitely securing the large number of interactions expressed by followers: precisely likes and retweets.
Unquestionable victory of LOLAmullenlowe in this ranking with 221 interactions, is not a coincidence. Various studies about content posted on Twitter show that visual content is increasing the number of interactions by nearly 18%. In some scale, that’s quite a lot and LOLAmullenlowe seems to know this very well. Accordingly, second and third in a ranking Shackleton and Good Rebels profiles with 199 and 148 interactions in February publishing visual content very widely on their profiles, understanding the necessity of followers to consume the eye-popping content
