Metrics

Fans – The total number of people who have liked your Page.
Fan’s Change – The change in total fan numbers expressed as a percentage.
Admin Posts – The total number of posts by Page Admins.
Interactions – The total number of people who saw a post that liked, shared, clicked or commented on it.
Likes – The total number of times all posts were liked over a given time period.
Comments – The total number of times all posts were commented on over a given time period.
Shares – The total number of times all posts were shared on over a given time period.


Page Reach and Impressions

Page Impressions – The total number of times that any content from your Page is displayed to one of your Fans.

Page Impressions by Story Type – Total number of times a story about your Page was seen, broken down by story type. There are 9 Facebook set story types, check them out here. ‘User Post’ is is often a strong barometer of your content.

Page Reach – The total number of unique people that saw any of your content you posted.

Page Impressions by Frequency Distribution – The number of times people saw your content appear in their News Feed, broken down by how many times they saw it. For example, on a particular date, 88 people may have seen a post once, 43 may have seen it twice etc.

Page Impressions by Viral Frequency Distribution – An example is best! If your friend publishes (shares/interacts with) something you posted, and someone else sees it, it’s the number of times that happens. (Facebook Def: The number of people your Page reached from a story published by a friend, broken down by how many times people saw stories about your Page)

Organic – The number of times content was displayed in a user’s News Feed or on your Page.
Viral – The number of times content associated with your page was displayed in a story published by a friend. Viral impressions happen when friends comment or share on your page for example.
Paid – The number of times content you paid to be displayed (i.e. through a boosted post) was displayed.


Page Engagement

Engaged Users – The number of people who Liked, Shared, Commented etc on anything on your Page.

Engagement Rate – The percentage of people who engaged with your Page after they saw it.

Consumption By Type: The number of times people clicked on types of your content. The types are divided into 4 categories preset by Facebook – photo, video, links, and other.

Consumers – The number of people who actually clicked on any of your content. This doesn’t include likes or shares, but clicks.

Negative Feedback by Type – The numbers of times your Fans interacted negatively with your Page. these types are set as – Uniking your page, if someone reports a post as spam or hides it, or they hide all from your Page.

Places Check In Total – The numbers of time someone checked into your business’ location.


Page Posts

Posts Impressions – The total number of times individual posts have been seen throughout Facebook – on your wall or on other people’s walls. It gives a better analysis of the real impact of each individual post.

Posts Reach – The total number of unique people that saw your posts throughout Facebook – on your wall or on other people’s walls.

Posts Organic Reach Rate – The total number of unique people that saw your posts throughout Facebook – on your wall or on other people’s walls – FOR FREE! (If you don’t use any paid content then this graph and Posts Reach will be the same)

Page and Post Stories and People Talking About This

Page Stories: The number of different story types generated by your page. Stories are anything you do such as Liking a photo, Posting a Status etc that appear in other people’s News Feed. The Story types are – checkin, coupon, event, fan, mention, page post, question, user post, and other.

Page Storytellers – The number of unique people that created a story about your Page, or on your Page, broken down by the story type.
