This ZoomSphere report details the analytics behind 26 startup accelerator, incubator and VC brands. We investigated which brands were gaining traction within their Facebook and Twitter, social media communities and how they do it. We tracked the following 26 brands to see how they were faring at the start of Q2 2015 (April 1st to April 15th): Y Combinator, Techstars, 500 Startups, Capital Factory, Dreamit Ventures, Tech Wildcatters, AngelPad, Matter, UpWest Labs, Parisoma, Tech Liminal, SandBox Suites, Seed Camp, MuckerLab, AlphaGear Lab, Capital Innovators, Surge Ventures, The Brandery, Betaspring, Transmedia Capital, BoomStartup, Rock Health, Jumpstart Foundry, Portland Incubator Experiment, Startupbootcamp, and Portland Seed Fund.

Comparing these brands shows what Engagement they are generating within their communities and the types of content that is gaining the most attention. We made some observations and have advice for other startups based on our analysis.

There was one industry specific brand that has impressive performance within its community; and the wider startup community appreciates news from it too. One startup was a standout on Twitter so we even took a look at the mentors associated with it to see who the biggest influencers were.
